Real GDP growth is 9% YTD

Real GDP of Ukraine grew 8.4% in November compared to November 2000. GDP growth for January-November was 9% compared to January-November 2000.

Auto Industry

81.6% in AvtoZAZ is for sale again

ZAZA). The starting price for the stake was set at UAH 54 mln ($10.2 mln). It is the second attempt to sell the stake this year. In August 2001 the stake was offered for sale at the price of UAH 77.005 mln ($14.5 mln), however nobody declared of the intention to partake. Moreover, last year the SPF failed to sell a 31.589 % shareholding in the company at the price of UAH 29.8 mln ($5.5 mln) via commercial tender because no one appeared to be into buying it.
